Video: Homemade Grilled Black Bean Burger

A made-from-scratch black bean burger that’s fast, easy and incredibly delicious. You’ll love this recipe!

You will need:

1/4 Cup Bell Pepper (Yellow)
1/4 Cup Onion
1 Cup Black Beans
1/4 Cup Quick Oats
Salt & Pepper
1 TBSP. Olive Oil
1 TSP. Cumin
1 TBSP. Tamari or Soy Sauce
1 Slice of Toasted Bread
1-2 Cloves Garlic

  1. We wil have to try this recipe next time. Last time we made black bean burgs. they weren’t solid enough and didn’t stick together. It must be the oats. Thanks for sharing!

    • Thanks, Rachelle! Definitely take care with these on the grill as well! The trick we’ve found is to use a little lower heat and make sure you let the first side get pretty done before you flip. The danger is in flipping too early! :)

      Also, these are great out of a pan as well and are a little more manageable that way.

  2. These black bean burgers look great…I can’t believe they only took 10 minutes to make!

    And good to know they work just as well in a pan…will have to give them a try soon.
